We are excited to announce that Dr. Amar Patel has earned Affiliated Urologists' newest UroLift® Center of Excellence designation.
The UroLift® Center of Excellence award recognizes providers who have completed a high level of training and experience with the UroLift® System; a breakthrough minimally-invasive treatment for symptoms of BPH. Dr. Amar Patel has shown a commitment to exemplary care for men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and we are proud to have a new Center of Excellence provider on our team.
Dr. Patel completed his General Surgery Internship and Urologic Surgery training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, obtaining recognition from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons as the 2019 Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgeon. During his time at Emory, Dr. Patel received advanced surgical training in all aspects of Urology, including open and minimally invasive surgery, all urologic cancers, advanced robotic surgery (prostate, kidney, ureter, and bladder), cryoablation, brachytherapy, stone disease, vasectomy, male and female urinary issues, urological trauma, erectile dysfunction, prosthetic surgery, and infertility.
Dr. Patel strives to provide the highest quality care for his patients, focusing on the importance of an open line of communication, and treating each patient as he would his own family.
We are thrilled to welcome another Center of Excellence designation among providers at Affiliated Urologists, as Dr. Daniel Jaffee is also a UroLift® Center of Excellence designated provider. With these two milestones, Affiliated Urologists has become the first Urology practice in Phoenix, Arizona to have two Center of Excellence Physician designations.
