Dr. Patel was born and raised in Chicago, IL and moved to Arizona in 2000. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Urologic Surgery training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, obtaining recognition from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons as the 2019 Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident.
Dr. Patel graduated magna cum laude with Honors from the University of Arizona and obtained his Medical Degree from The University of Arizona College of Medicine—Phoenix.
Dr. Patel strives to provide the highest quality care for his patients, focusing on the importance of an open line of communication, and treating each patient as he would his own family. He takes a special interest in implementing new technology and educational platforms to provide an informative, seamless, and efficient approach to patient centered care.
During his time at Emory, Dr. Patel received advanced surgical training in all aspects of Urology, including all urologic cancers, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, advanced robotic surgery (prostate, kidney, ureter, and bladder), cryoablation, brachytherapy, stone disease, vasectomy, male and female urinary issues, urologic trauma, erectile dysfunction, prosthetic surgery, and infertility. Dr. Patel has also published book chapters, papers in peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented at several national Urology conferences.
Dr. Patel is excited to be back home in Arizona with his wife, daughter, and goldendoodle. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching movies, sports, and hiking.
